Bandit was quirky, unruly, and yet there could be no sweeter animal! He was inquisitive, naughty (a lot!) and almost human-like. I used to think he was a reincarnation of somebody who had it in for me! I am telling this in a humorous vein as I adored Bandit. He was my most interesting cat and I miss his antics more than anyone will know.
In January, with his sister cat, Lizzie, we left Colorado in a small camper for a five-week, 5000 mile camping trip to Florida. We were all new to this living arrangement (!) and I was amazed at how quickly they took to the long days of driving, the many location changes, and just the drastic interruption of their normal routine. Both cats spent their days staring out the windows at birds, deer, alligators and other forms of nature only a cat could truly appreciate! Wishful thinking I’ll bet!
Bandit, we love and miss you 🙂
I have a special place in my heart for Dr. Cooney who made Bandit and me so comfortable during a very emotional time. She welcomed us into her lovely little sanctuary in Loveland and could not have been more caring and loving. Thank you, Dr. Cooney, from the bottom of my heart.
